Ben is a Project Manager and qualified Carpenter with over 20 years’ experience. Ben manages all our construction-based projects. He is passionate about sustainable construction and is a committed environmentalist. Ben holds a MSc Architecture: Advanced Energy & Environment Studies (Distinction) from the Centre for Alternative Technology and is a certified Passive House/Passivhaus Tradesperson. Ben is a Future Proof Associate Builder trainer, which means he trains other builders in using sustainable methods.

In late 2019 Ben made it through to the final of the prestigious Screwfix Tradesperson of the year competition, in which 10 finalists had been handpicked from a total of 1000.

Ben is also on the board of directors for Retrofit West CIC which has been set up to try to deliver an uptake in Retrofit across the the South West
