Description

The Zehnder Option box allows additional control options for the Zehnder ComfoAir Q350, 450 and 600 MVHR units. 

In some scenario’s peripheral products  can be used that do not (yet) have a ComfoNet 

connection option. For example:

• ComfoFond-L Q
• ComfoHood
• Post-heater (third party)
• StandbySwitch, Error Contact, External Filter Contacts 
• Wired CO2- and humidity- and/or other sensors
• Wired bathroom switches.
• The Option Box allows using those peripherals.

One example of the need for an Options box would be if the property has a fire alarm. It is possible to wire the fire alarm system to the MVHR system via the options box. Then in the event of a fire alarm being triggered the MVHR unit will turn off to prevent smoke being moved around the MVHR system
